Jayhawks - [1995] Tomorrow The Green Grass

A um tempo atrás, eu comentei que o Hollywood Town Hall do Jayhawks era o melhor pra começar a gostar da banda, mas não o melhor da discografia deles. Eis aqui o disco em que eu acho que as melhores composições da banda se encontram. Não tão diferente do Hollywood... , mas o backin vocal feminino dá um charme a mais para o som. Muito, mas muito bom mesmo! Top 3: "Blue" , "Two Hearts" , "Bad Time". Pra quem gosta de: Wilco, Black Crowes, Ryan Adams, Victoria Williams e Neil Young.

Some time ago, I said that Hollywood Town Hall was the best Jayhawks' record to know the band but not the best record in their discography. Tomorrow The Green Grass is not so diferent, but the female backin vocals put something lighter and more beatiful in the songs of the band. A classic from the 90's

Banda americana bem legal. Fazem um rock meio puxado pro country e pro folk. Esse disco fez muito sucesso nos EUA na época, mas aqui passou desapercebido. Num é meu preferido deles, mas é o melhor pra começar a gostar da banda. Top 3: "Waiting For The Sun", "Crowded In The Wings" e "Sister Cry". Pra quem gosta de: Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Black Crowes, Tom Petty e Wilco.

Such a great american band. They do this awesome country-folk-rock (!?) since the 80's and are still active. This record was the most sucessful in USA. It's not my favorite from them, but is the better to start to like them. Top 3: Top 3: "Waiting For The Sun", "Crowded In The Wings" and "Sister Cry". For those who likes: Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Black Crowes, Tom Petty and Wilco.
