Esse single é uma das minhas coisas preferidas dos Pumpkins pós-reunião. Superchrist é uma cacetada e o videoclipe tem o Sky Saxon dos Seeds bem velhão tocando baixo. Cacete, Billy Corgan deve ser o guitarrista mais subestimado do mundo. Enfim, amanhã é dia de invasão britânica aqui. Pra quem gosta de Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam e Nirvana.

Auf Der Maur - [2004] Auf Der Maur

Após tocar em bandas como Hole e Smashing Pumpkins, a senhorita Melissa Auf Der Maur decidiu gravar um disco solo contando com a ajuda de seus amiguinhos Josh Homme e Chris Goss. O resultado é esse disco, que teve single e video com boa circulação pela mídia. De primeira eu achei bem sem graça, principalmente a voz dela. Deixei o disco esquecido no meu pc, mas peguei pra ouvir de novo e cada vez mais gosto do som. Num chega a ser um clássico, mas é um bom disco de rock. Tem umas levadas legais entre a guitarra e o baixo, ficou bem coeso. Top 3: "Follow The Waves" , "Taste You", "Skin Receiver". Pra quem gosta de: Hole, Smashing Pumpkins, Queens Of The Stone Age e Bush.

This record is the result of the work, wich have a single and video with good circulation in media. With a good balance between the guitars and basses, this record is a very enjoyable one. Smashing Pumpkins - [2008] American Gothic

Aí está uma banda que eu redescobri recentemente e tenho ouvido bastante. Eles lançaram este EP esses tempos. Bom lançamento. As músicas são todas acústicas com uma guitarrinha leve aqui e ali, um som bem alegrezinho, o que não tem nada a ver com o nome estúpido do disco. Bom pra ouvir assim de vez em quando. Top 3: Dã! Pra quem gosta de: Stone Temple Pilots e Pearl Jam acústico.

Here we find a band that I rediscover recently and I've been listen to them a lot. They launch this EP lately, wich is a good release. All the songs are acoustic with some guitars here and there, wich makes the sound of the record very happyish. It's strange because the mood of the record doesn't combine with this stupid name, "American Gothic"... pfff. Good to listen sometimes in a while. Top 3: Duh! For those who likes: Stone Temple Pilots and Pearl Jam acoustic.
