Paul Weller - [1993] Wild Wood

Mr. Paul Weller é o cara. Voz lindissima, bom guitarrista, cabelo de tigela, essas coisas legais e tals. Esse é o segundo disco solo dele, lançado em 1993. Junto com o Stanley Road (1995), é o seu melhor disco solo . Ou não. Rendeu dois singles, "Wild Wood" e "Sunflower" que entraram bem nas paradas inglesas. Mas o disco no todo foi melhor, chegando ao 2º lugar da parada britânica (não me perguntem o primeiro). Acho estranho ele não fazer sucesso aqui. Pô, o cara é o papa do brit-rock! Não me lembro de ver ele na MTV muito menos tocando na rádio. Acho que só "You Do Something To Me" tocou nas rádios daqui e nem foi muito tempo não. Enfim, vale muito a pena! Ah, esse é mais um daqueles discos que foram lançados com capas diferentes pelo mundo. Essa é a original e pra mim a que melhor representa o disco. Top 3: "Wild Wood", "All The Pictures On The Wall" e "Foot of The Mountain". Pra quem gosta de: Neil Young, Traffic, Humble Pie, Motown, Lennon e McCartney solo, Oasis e Ocean Colour Scene.
