Geralmente eu não sou muito chegado a essas bandas psicodélicas. Acho todas elas muito pretensiosas com esses solos intermináveis que parecem uma masturbação infinita. Mas, sei lá por que, gostei desse Mammatus. A música mais curta tem quase 6 minutos e mais longa tem uns 20. E são só quatro! Olhando assim parece chato, mas a barulheira deles não deixa a coisa monótona. O vocal é um mero detalhe nesta banda e a guitarreira é saturada de distorção, wah-wah, phaser, delay e tudo o que tem direito. Ouça sem prestar atenção que fica mais legal. Top 3: Dã! Pra quem gosta de: Blue Cheer, Led Zeppelin, Atomic Rooster e Monster Magnet.

Generally, I'm not a big fan of psychdelic bands. All of them are too pretensious with all these solos and noises. But Mammatus is very enjoyable. The shortest song reach almost 6 minutes and the longest one is a trip of almost 20 minutes. And is just 4 songs on this record. Looking in this way, the idea is kinda boring, but all the guitar noises and rythyms doesn't let you sleep. Vocal here is not the most important thing. Mainly because you can't almost hear it drowned in all the noise that guitar makes. Good to listen without pay too much attention. Top 3: duh! For those who likes: Blue Cheer, Led Zeppelin, Atomic Rooster and Monster Magnet.
