Clutch - [1993] Transnational Speedway League: Anthems, Anedoctes and Undeniable Thruths

The more I listen, the more I love Clutch. Being honest, I'm not familiar with their entire catalogue. I just listen repeatedely to this one, the last one, Jam Room and Blast Tyrant. The thing is that I love these four so much that I want to dig them a little more before pay atention to the rest of their work. One thing at a time. "El Jefe Speaks" is one of the best wah-riffs that I've ever listen to. Just classic

Clutch - [2009] Strange Cousins From The West

Da-lhe Clutch! Top 3: "Motherless Child", "Struck Down" e "Freakonomics". Pra quem gosta de: Gov't Mule, Five Horse Johnson, The Brought Low, Alabama Thunderpussy e Corrosion Of Conformity.

More bluesy than ever, Clutch released their new record last July. The mainly difference between this album and their previous releases is the absent of keyboards in the whole record, which isn't a bad thing when you have a guitar player like Tim Sult to fill all the spaces. Neil Fallon's voice is great as ever. The songs are great to, sounding something like Gov't Mule, but without those long jams/solos (which are kind of boring, sometimes) and more agressive. One of the best albums of the year, for sure. Top 3: "Motherless Child", "Struck Down" and "Freakonomics". For those who likes: Gov't Mule, Five Horse Johnson, The Brought Low, Alabama Thunderpussy and Corrosion Of Conformity.

Clutch - [1999] Jam Room

Ouvi o novo deles (Strange Cousins From The West) e adorei do começo ao fim. Top 3: "Big Fat Pig", "Gnome Enthusiast" e "Swampt Boot Upside Down". Pra quem gosta de: Faith No More, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Gov't Mule, Alabama Thunderpussy e Fireball Ministry.

I didn't like Clutch the first time I listen to it. But since I listened to this album, I've started to like them more and more. Neil Fallon's is so charismatic and guitar player Tim Slut is so underrated, unfortunately. Don't know why, but sometimes they sound to me like they are some kind of Lynyrd Skynyrd mixed with the Faith No More freak-out style. I've hearded their last album yesterday (Strange Cousins From The West) and they still sound great. Anyway, I think that "Jam Room" is perfect if you want to know and, them, love this band. Enjoy! Top 3: "Big Fat Pig", "Gnome Enthusiast" and "Swampt Boot Upside Down". For those who likes: Faith No More, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Gov't Mule, Alabama Thunderpussy and Fireball Ministry.
