Jon Spencer Blues Explosion - [2001] Plastic Fang

Otimo disco, bem rock n roll e tal. Muito antes do White Stripes e do Black Keys o Blues Explosion já tocava um rock calcado no blues sem usar o baixo. A diferença é que são duas (otimas) guitarras. O disco corre facil e o vocal do Jon Spencer é beeem legal. E deu em dois otimos clipes, She Said e Sweet & Sour. Ao contrário daquelas chatices de Joe Bonamassa, Kenny Wen Shepherd e esse monte de metidos a bluesmen que são só uma copia de mal gosto do Stevie Ray Vaughan, o Blues Explosion toca um blues-rock muito mais baseado no ritmo e no vocal, ao invés daquela chatice de solo , solo e mais solo. Meu Top 3: "She Said", "Killer Wolf" e "Down In The Beast". Pra quem gosta de: White Stripes, Black Keys, Rolling Stones, Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf e Blues.

Great record, very rock n' roll. Long time before White Stripes and Black Keys, Blues Explosion did a rock based in blues without bass. The difererence is that in Blues Explosion we have two great guitars. The Jon Spencer vocals is good too and, unlike other actual names of blues like Joe Bonamassa and Kenny Wen Shepherd, BX plays a sound more focused in the rhythms than the solos. Top 3: "She Said", "Killer Wolf" and "Down In The Beast". For those who likes: White Stripes, Black Keys, Rolling Stones, Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf and Blues.
